FAQ

1. General Questions

What’s the difference between sample packs, presets, and one-shots?

  • Sample Packs: Collections of audio files (loops, textures, drums, melodic shots) that you can drag into any DAW.
  • Presets: Saved sound-design settings for synths (e.g., Serum). They load inside the plugin and let you play fully designed sounds instantly.
  • One-Shots: Single audio hits (bass notes, chords, stabs, percussion) that you can play like an instrument or sequence in a sampler.

Which genres are these packs best for?

They are primarily designed for Melodic House, Deep House, Chill, Lofi, and Electronica — but they also work well in any style requiring warm, organic, and expressive sounds.

Can I use these sounds in commercial releases?

Yes. All sounds can be used in your music, including commercial releases, streaming, sync, beat sales, content creation, and more.

2. Licensing & Usage

Can I resell the samples or presets as part of my own sample pack?

No. Redistribution, repackaging, or reselling the original samples or presets (even modified) is strictly prohibited.

Can I use the sounds in beats I sell to artists or labels?

Yes. You can use the sounds in your beats, productions, mixes, or client work — as long as the samples are part of a musical composition and not provided as isolated audio files.

Can I modify presets and sell them as my own preset bank?

No. Even heavily edited presets may not be redistributed or sold as your own.

You may use them freely in your productions.

Can I upload the samples to my own membership, sample library, or app?

No. The original files cannot be added to any library, subscription service, or platform.

3. Compatibility

Which DAWs are supported?

All DAWs support the sample packs and one-shots, including:

Ableton Live, FL Studio, Logic Pro, Cubase, Bitwig, Studio One, Reaper, Pro Tools, and more.

What do I need to use the presets?

Only the plugin they were designed for (usually Serum).

Version requirements are always listed on the product page.

What file format and quality are the samples?

All audio files are uncompressed WAV (usually 24-bit / 44.1 kHz or higher), ready for professional use.

4. Download & Updates

How do I download my files after purchase?

You receive an email instantly with your download link.

Do downloads expire?

Normally, no. You will always have access.

However, it’s best to store your packs locally or in a cloud backup.

What if I lose the download link?

Just contact support with your email or order number and we’ll resend the files.

5. Installation & Use

How do I install the presets?

Typical steps (Serum example):

  1. Download & unzip the folder.
  2. Copy the preset folder into your “Serum Presets/Presets/User” directory.
  3. Reload Serum and browse to the folder.

A Read-Me file is usually included with product-specific instructions.

How do I use one-shots and samples?

1. Unzip the pack.

2. Drag the folder into your sample library or DAW browser.

3. Load sounds into a sampler (Sampler, Simpler, Drum Rack, Kontakt, etc.)

4. Play, sequence, or resample them creatively.

Why does a preset sound different than the demo?

  • Macros, mod wheel, or velocity not used
  • Plugin version outdated
  • Project sample rate or FX settings differ

6. Troubleshooting

The zip file won’t open / download fails — what should I do?

Check:

  • Stable internet connection
  • Enough disk space
  • A modern unzip tool (macOS Archive Utility, 7-Zip, WinRAR…)

If it still fails, contact us with your order number.

The presets don’t show up in my plugin.

Please check:

  1. Correct preset folder location
  2. Correct plugin version installed
  3. Plugin/DAW has been restarted after copying presets

If still not working: send a screenshot and we’ll help.

Since digital downloads cannot be returned, refunds are generally not offered.

However — if you have a technical issue or a special situation, reach out. We’re always fair.

Can I transfer my purchase to someone else?
